Cancellation & Refund Policy
This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations and refunds are handled for the GotTime service.
1. Subscription Billing
Our platform provides subscription-based access to an online booking and appointment management system for businesses.
Subscriptions are available on the following billing cycles:
- Monthly Plan: R149 per month.
- Annual Plan: Billed annually at the equivalent of 11 months (one month free).
Subscription fees are billed in advance at the beginning of each billing cycle.
2. Cancellation Policy
Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time.
Cancellation can be done by:
- Logging into the account dashboard and cancelling the subscription; or
- Contacting support via email.
Once cancelled:
- The subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- No further charges will be made after the current billing period ends.
- Cancelling a subscription does not immediately terminate access to the platform.
3. Refund Policy
Because the service provides immediate access to digital software, the following refund policy applies:
3.1 Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable once the billing period has started. If a user cancels during a billing period, the subscription will remain active until the end of that period.
3.2 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are generally non-refundable after payment has been processed. However, if a customer cancels within 7 days of the initial annual purchase, they may request a full refund, provided that:
- The platform has not been extensively used; and
- No abuse of the refund policy is detected.
Refund requests must be submitted to support within the 7-day window.
4. Failed Payments
If a subscription payment fails:
- The platform may attempt to reprocess the payment.
- Access to the service may be suspended until payment is successfully processed.
5. Service Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate our terms of service; or
- Engage in abuse, fraud, or unlawful activity.
In such cases, refunds may not be issued.
6. Processing of Approved Refunds
Where refunds are approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
- Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and banking institutions.
